Aims & Scope

The aim of the journal is to advance the science and practice of psychiatry by publishing high-quality, evidence-based research across all medical specialties where behavioural, emotional, or psychological dimensions play a pivotal role.

We seek to provide a rigorous, inclusive, and intellectually vibrant platform for clinicians, academicians, and researchers who strive to deepen the understanding of behavioural manifestations across diverse health conditions. The journal welcomes contributions that bridge psychiatry with allied fields such as neurology, dermatology, oncology, internal medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics, and other specialties in which behavioural symptoms intersect with clinical practice.

Our scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Original research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and high-quality narrative reviews.
  • Studies exploring the psychiatric, psychological, or behavioural aspects of medical and surgical disorders.
  • Interdisciplinary research integrating psychosomatic medicine, consultation-liaison psychiatry, behavioural sciences, public mental health, and neurobiological perspectives.
  • Innovative clinical practices, case series, and case reports with strong academic and educational merit.
  • Policy, ethics, education, and practice-based insights relevant to mental health care.
  • Research promoting culturally sensitive and contextually relevant mental health understanding.
